In November-December 2013, CAFF hosted a series of three interactive, “conversation-style” workshops about essential business planning tools and techniques. Representatives from two farms discussed how they developed their plans for the 2013 selling season. Workshop participants were able to hear about the farmers’ successes, challenges, and lessons learned. The workshops included Q & A and refreshments. Each participant received a copy of CAFF’s ToolChest: “The Farmers’ Marketing and Sales Notebook” and other resources.
