SUMMARY:Marketing Workshop: Brand Your Farm\, Build Your Materials
DESCRIPTION:Whether you’re starting from scratch or already have a logo and want to do more with it\, this workshop will help you build farm marketing materials that look professional and feel like you. \nIn the first half\, local designer Zoe Byrne (https://designwithzoe.com/) will cover branding fundamentals: what makes a farm brand recognizable\, how to choose logos\, colors\, and fonts that work in print and online\, and how to keep your labels\, signage\, and social media consistent. Zoe will also give a short\, friendly live review of one farm’s existing materials\, with practical ideas for improving them. \nAfter a break with food and time to meet other farmers\, we’ll move into a hands-on Canva co-working session. Bring your farm photos\, logo\, and colors\, and leave with a finished piece you can use\, such as a market flyer\, produce sign\, label\, or social media post. We’ll look at how to pick a template and customize it for your farm brand. \nWhat to bring: a laptop or tablet\, plus any farm photos\, logos\, or existing marketing materials you’d like to work with. \nWant feedback on your materials? Let us know when you register if you’d like Zoe to review your farm’s branding during the workshop and we’ll pick one farmer for the exercise. \nThis event is hosted by CAFF and Kitchen Table Advisors. \n\nFunding for this workshop was made possible by a grant from California Certified Organic Farmers\, Inc. (CCOF\, Inc.) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service (USDA AMS). Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official\nviews of the USDA.
