You may benefit from the State of California’s GoGreen Business Energy Financing program\, which offers support for small and medium-sized businesses in California to invest in energy-saving building retrofits and installations\, including pump motors\, refrigeration\, and horticultural lighting. Look online for a comprehensive list of pre-qualified energy-saving measures organized by category. \nThrough the GoGreen Business program\, eligible businesses—both property owners and tenants—can access private financing with exceptional terms for projects from $5\,000 to $5 million. Right now\, select participating finance companies are currently offering reduced interest rates as low as 0 percent. \nCCOF will host an informational webinar on the GoGreen Business Energy Financing program on Tuesday\, November 7\, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Pre-register online. \nEligible applicants must meet one of the following requirements: \n\nOne hundred or fewer employees\nAnnual revenues of less than $15 million\nMeet Small Business Administration (SBA) small business size requirements (i.e.\, annual revenues from $1 million to $41.5 million\, depending on industry)\n\nIn addition\, the business must receive service from an investor-owned utility: See this map for coverage. \nThe program is open to cannabis growers as well as other types of agricultural and food businesses. \nPlease join us for this informational webinar. DESCRIPTION:We are excited to invite you to the relaunch of the Small Farm Tech Expo\, an event co-hosted by CAFF and UC ANR\, where we delve into the world of ag technologies tailored for small-scale farms. \nThe following technology categories will be highlighted: weed management\, irrigation\, small robots (electric carts\, semi-autonomous tractors\, etc)\, cold storage\, seeding & harvesting tools & attachments\, and much more! \n Event Highlights: \n\nDemo site: Live demonstration of small farm technologies\, carefully curated to enhance various farm production areas\, like weed management tools\, irrigation systems\, cooling equipment\, and more.\nExhibitors: Meet with technology companies and organizations who support small farmers – from open-source production management software to a portable CoolBot trailer.\nNetworking Lunch: After the demos\, connect with a network of like-minded farmers\, visit with exhibitors and enjoy a delicious lunch.\nGrants & Resources:  Learn about available grants and resources available that will help you access and purchase tools and equipment.\nSpanish\, Hmong\, Punjabi & Iu Mien interpretation available\n\nAgenda: \n\n9:00 – 10:00am: Doors open for registration and equipment viewing with vendors/exhibitors.\n10:00am: Program begins: Group Assignments & Loading into Tram\n10:30 – 12:30pm: Field demonstration rotations – different groups will rotate through three field demonstrations on weed control\, small robots and irrigation moisture sensors.\n12:45 – 1:00pm: Break\n1:00 – 1:45pm: Lunch and vendor visits\n1:45pm – 2:00pm: Grant opportunities for buying equipment\n2:00pm – 2:15pm: Walk to sessions\n2:15-3:00pm: Feedback sessions in small groups & farmer networking time\n\nWho Should Attend?
