Who Are We? An Introduction:
We are a rapidly expanding market vegetable farm that services the Michelin Star restaurants of the Bay area. We compliment direct / wholesale produce sales with a busy CSA that serves Napa, Sonoma, Solano County, Berkeley & Marin. We also have an on-farm farm stand (open to the public on an honor based system), and host farm tours & events (dinners, yoga, ect) in our event space. The home farm sits as the center spoke of an Agri-hood community in construction. Our team also consults for a few local farm projects off the farm in Sonoma & Napa County.

Job Description:
We’re looking for a team player whom is interested in learning or developing their skills at our CCOF certified market garden & orchards in Petaluma. In addition to contributing to our home farm there are opportunities to work on off-site farm consult projects that include new farm builds & weekly client maintenance. NO POSITION ON THIS FARM HAS HOUSING NOR CAN YOU PARK ANY TRAILER OR VEHICLE ON PROPERTY TO STAY.
Duties include: Weeding, bed prepping, completing farm tasks, harvesting, planting, greenhouse work. Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds, work in the sun and start work early in the morning. The schedule is Monday-Friday sunrise and completing the day 8 hours later.
Leadership opportunities available in working independently and delivering daily outlines to our small farm crew.

Someone who is quality oriented and community minded. Ability to think on your feet and contribute to a greater team.
This position has room for growth! We’d love to have this position shift to a head farmer position in the future or hone your specialty in a particular area of our farm (taking ownership of specific farm work or off-site consulting clients)
Full time / year-round position.
Reliable transportation to and from farm is required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Most of the duties are listed above. But if you’re interested in biodynamics, organic, permaculture, no or low till, hand grown, constantly learning, orchard, chickens, pigeons, pigs, market gardens, learning, and more learning.
Education & Experience:
We’re interested in an interesting person whom is willing to learn and excel their existing farming knowledge with application on our growing farm.
Wage based on candidate’s prior experience.
