Bookkeeper and Payroll Administrator
40 hrs per week, year-round. Non-exempt, hybrid position.

The Occidental Arts and Ecology Center (OAEC) seeks a full-time (40 hours/week) Bookkeeper and Payroll Administrator to support OAEC’s finance and payroll administration systems. The Bookkeeper and Payroll Administrator will be part of a two-person Finance Department team that serves OAEC’s diverse portfolio of projects and programs, including its growing Fiscally Sponsored Projects (FSP) Program. This is a hybrid role and requires working at least 3 days/week on-site at OAEC. This individual should be self-directed, flexible, easy to get along with, and passionate about OAEC’s mission and programmatic work in the world. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of bookkeeping experience in a small or medium business and/or nonprofit setting and proficiency in processing payroll. Applicants should be highly organized with exceptional attention to detail as well as passionate about OAEC’s mission and programmatic work in the world. Annual salary is set at $56,466 per year (non-negotiable) and includes generous vacation time and other benefits.
