POSITIONS AVAILABLE:  RANCH INFRASTRUCTURE SPECIALIST

Sonoma Mountain Ranch Preservation Foundation (SMRPF) and Sonoma Mountain Institute (SMI) are two organizations who work together on the same land base with similar goals. SMRPF performs cutting edge restoration and monitoring science on its home ranch as well as supporting other organizations to do the same. SMI manages public and private land for individuals, governmental organizations and nonprofits across Sonoma and Marin County including its partnership with SMRPF. SMI’s and SMRPF’s team of land managers, stewards, and scientists focuses on managed herbivory and other tools to restore the health of the grasslands and savannas in our bioregion. This scientifically based, boots on the ground approach to adaptive management is our strategy to try and increase biodiversity across the land we manage. Our two organizations are looking for a new team member to help facilitate regenerative management across these landscapes by focusing on the infrastructure and equipment we need to do so. This position allows you to work with great people, outdoors in a collaborative setting.
