About the role
The Content Producer is responsible for creating, writing and editing content across Tend to enhance the customer’s experience. The role will engage in original story-telling and promotional content to assist with product releases, help documentation, website copy, email correspondence and general messaging as it relates to farmers.

Depending on your experience, compensation can range $15-$30 an hour. As we grow, compensation can grow.

Who you are
Experience: Experience: At least 3 years in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities (farming and/or agricultural related background, strongly preferred)
Skills:
• Technical writing skills as it relates to product education and training
• An experienced product writer with excellent writing skills, the ability to persuade, and a vivid imagination
• Excellent grasp of grammar and punctuation. A wordsmith!
• You can structure documentation so that it is user-friendly and easy to understand
• Knowledge of HTML a plus
Characteristics:
• Possess a clear understanding of the importance of high quality work and accuracy and its impact on the customer’s site experience
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning skills to ensure timely and accurate execution of responsibilities
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to accept feedback and be receptive of others’ opinions
Education: A related degree preferred (English, Journalism, Creative Writing, etc.)
Bonus Points: Knowledge of Tend’s Product
What you will do
• Write and proofread online product documentation, content and copy, maintaining the highest level of quality
• Audit our existing website and in-app content and help us update the copy to properly tell the story of Tend’s mission, product offerings, and the value we provide to our customers
• Create, update and maintain Tend’s help documentation so that it is user-friendly, easy to understand, and impeccably written
• Create detailed product-specific guides, review work, and execute our style to ensure the guides are grammatically perfect and aesthetically clean
• Assist with content development and editing scripts for training videos that can be used by customers to easily onboard onto Tend
• Assist with the creation of catchy and creative emails, blogs, newsletters, headlines, and taglines
• Collaborate with our Product and Engineering teams to understand how new and existing features work to syncronize help documentation with development
• Deeply understand our users needs, and be an advocate for their success
• Prepare and embed screenshots, animated GIFs, and videos in Help Center articles
• Integrate graphics and illustrations to improve the quality and usability of the documentation
• Contribute to Information Architecture decisions and demonstrate an understanding of how readers use our resources to learn
• Work effectively and proactively as a member of the cross functional team by communicating clearly and focusing on team objectives
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the product, target audience and competitor activities in the market
