Essential job functions: With support from the Greenhouse and Super Jardineros Manager, facilitates Super Jardineros workshops and activities and provides support with sales and marketing.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
In collaboration with the Shared Garden Program, recruit new participants for the Super Jardineros Program.
Communicate via email, phone calls, text messages, or in person, on a monthly basis with Super Jardineros Program participants.
Schedule and facilitate workshops.
Schedule and conduct monthly check-ins, and quarterly garden visits with participants
Create and upload training videos to online learning platforms, as needed.
Coordinate the seedling production with Super Jardineros Manager following the planting schedule developed for all Valley Verde programs
Provide technical support for Super Jardineros (Planning, Best Practices, IPM, etc)
Coordinate distribution of growing supplies (growing medium, planters, trays, etc)
In collaboration with the Greenhouse Manager, track and input program data.
Evaluate quality seedlings and coordinate sales
Provide support with seedling sales (online and in person), subscriptions, and marketing material.
Create Social Media content for the Super Jardineros Program.
