EMERGENCY GRANTS
DROUGHT: Deadline to apply is July 15th. For farm losses resulting fro the 2021-22 drought, including loss of crops, sales, unexpected expenses, well lowering or retrofitting, etc.
WILDFIRE: Deadline to apply is August 15th. Includes loss of property, equipment, crops, livestock, sales, etc. for farms located in eligible counties.

Introducing Sasha Pesci, Contractor at the Small Farm Tech Hub
|
Sasha started at the Tech Hub this Spring and is helping farm businesses directly with their technology needs. Sasha is a PhD candidate in Geography at UC Davis who is originally from Mendoza, Argentina and a native Spanish speaker. Her work is driven by a commitment to equity, justice and ecological sustainability in the food system. Her dissertation research explores how direct-to-market farmers in California are navigating the growing trend towards online sales and marketing.

ABOUT THE SMALL FARM TECH HUB
The Small Farm Tech Hub supports farmers in the adoption of right-fit tools to increase sales, market channels, and business efficiencies. The Tech Hub is providing free resources and consulting to help pivot to sales models better suited to the current COVID-19 crisis as well as longer-term consumer purchasing trends.
Support provided by the Tech Hub may include starting an online store, transferring to a different ecommerce site, marketing, or identifying tools for increasing your business efficiencies.
