SUMMARY:Vitis and Ovis Farm Tour and Discussion: Adaptations to Climate Extremes in the Capay Valley
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a walking tour of Vitis and Ovis Farm\, a highly diversified regenerative farm in the Capay Valley\, followed by an open discussion about adaptations to drought\, extreme temperatures\, and other “climate extremes”. Learn how Vitis and Ovis integrate ducks in their vineyard and orchards\, their strategies for water capture and water use efficiency\, and other benefits to their diversified approach. We will all gather after the tour to brainstorm and share innovative approaches to farming in the face of our changing climate. (CAFF staff will be on hand to share information about the current state of water policy in CA.)
