Our Advisory Board
The CAFF Advisory Board is composed of a group of multifaceted individuals, including agricultural advocates, entrepreneurs, authors, and former members of the CAFF Board of Directors. The twelve members of the Advisory Board bring their expertise, insight, and external perspectives to CAFF.
Michael Pollan is a best selling author of such as “The Omnivore’s Dilemma” and is a local food advocate.
Alice Waters is the owner of Chez Panisse, a champion of locally-grown food, a celebrated cookbook author and is considered the “mother of modern American cooking.”
David Mas Masumoto is an author and owner of Masumoto Family Farm in Fresno.
Cathy Curtis is the owner of Curtis Financial Planning and manages Bay Gourmet for the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco. She is the Board President for the Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture (CUESA).
John Diener is the owner of Red Rock Ranch in Five Points and the 2009 winner of the Leopold Conservation Award.
