What Does Regenerative Agriculture Mean?

Terms like “carbon farming,” “sustainable agriculture,” and “regenerative” are used a lot these days, but what do they really mean? What practices do they refer to and what impacts do these terms have? In recent years, many have begun attempting to distill “regenerative” into specific definitions, policies and certifications. 

In this public forum, aimed primarily at those working in agriculture, we’ll explore these questions. Come learn about the various movements to define it, including where these definitions diverge, and join us in a conversation about the best use for these terms, whether for farmers, consumers or those crafting important policies.
