Join the #ImmigrantsMakeAgricultureGreat Video Campaign

This Labor Day, let’s celebrate the essential role of immigrants in agriculture—not only as workers, but as neighbors, leaders, and vital members of our farming communities. From planting seeds to building businesses, immigrants nourish both our fields and our communities.

We’re inviting farmers, agricultural advocates, food lovers, and community members to join this participatory video campaign and lift up authentic voices from across our food system. Together, we’ll create a mosaic of stories that honors the human contributions that make agriculture thrive.

How to Participate

  1. Record Your Video
    • Grab your phone and record a short clip of yourself completing this sentence: “Immigrants make agriculture great because __________.”
    • Keep it simple, heartfelt, and authentic.
    • Film wherever feels meaningful—on your farm, in your kitchen, at the farmers market, or in your community.
  2. Share Your Video
    • Option A: Post directly to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or Twitter/X with the hashtag #ImmigrantsMakeAgricultureGreat
    • Option B: Email your clip to contact@caff.org and we’ll include it on CAFF’s social media channels
  3. Spread the Word
    • Tag your friends, family, or fellow farmers and encourage them to join.
    • Organizations: Share this campaign with your networks to help amplify immigrant voices in agriculture.

Tips for a Great Video

  • Keep it short: 15–30 seconds is perfect.
  • Speak clearly and from the heart.
  • Natural light and quiet surroundings work best.
  • If you’re comfortable, introduce yourself and your role in the food system.

Every voice matters. By joining in, you’re helping highlight the human side of agriculture and honoring the immigrant communities who keep our farms, food, and families thriving.
