Cap off a weekend of Santa Cruz County Open Farm Tours with an unforgettable evening under the stars. We invite you to join us for CAFF’s 2nd Annual Open Farm Dinner on Sunday, October 11th from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m., hosted at the breathtaking Pajaro Pastures Ecological Ranch in Corralitos, CA.

This year, we are proud to shine a spotlight on the women who nourish our communities. In alignment with the United Nations declaring 2026 the International Year of the Woman Farmer, this year’s gathering honors the resilience, leadership, and indispensable contributions of women across our food system—a cause CAFF has championed for decades.

FOOD

Jessica Yarr is a chef and creative director whose work spans private dining, restaurant ownership, and brand development. Her approach is intuitive and detail-driven, creating experiences that feel both elevated and deeply personal.

She is also an active and respected presence within her community—dedicating time to local events, fundraisers, and collaborative gatherings through her café and extended culinary work.

MUSIC

Hannah Mayree is a California-based songwriter, banjo player, cultural organizer, and founder of The Black Banjo Reclamation Project, an initiative uplifting the African roots of the banjo and creating space for Black artists to reclaim their connection to the instrument.

With a rich, soulful voice and an intuitive command of the banjo, they create soundscapes that bridge past and present—blending African diasporic rhythms, Appalachian textures, and lyrical storytelling.
