Schools Support Food Access in San Mateo County
California schools, a significant market for family farmers, are critical sources of food access for local communities. CAFF Teamed up with UC Cooperative Extension and Get Healthy San Mateo to better understand how five school districts’ child nutrition programs in San Mateo County were impacted during COVID-19, from operations to purchasing and community engagement, and what effects this could have in the future.
