From Ground to Field: Know Your Water, Know Your Use

Come learn about groundwater sustainability in Sonoma County and diverse strategies to help you understand water use on your farm. This workshop will introduce a handful of water-use efficiency practices that address soil moisture, irrigation efficiency and testing, plant stress, sensor and monitoring tools, and more. At the end, we’re offering a build your own DIY tensiometer activity to take home for use on your farm! Understanding local groundwater challenges and the different ways to assess water use efficiency will help set you up to better weather oncoming water challenges.
