Groundwater, Family Farms, and SGMA
Do you rely on a well for irrigation or drinking water? The Sustainable Groundwater Management Act is changing how California manages its groundwater – and it’s important for you to know what that looks like for your region!
Funded by the Department of Water Resources URCTA Program, CAFF is working with UC ANR Small Farms Team and the UC Davis Legal Clinic to support farmers in understanding the Groundwater Sustainability Plans being implemented around the state. See below for resources, news, and updates on this work.
