Job Description and Responsibilities

Position: Vineyard Worker

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Vineyard Worker with advanced skills to contribute to the development and maintenance of our company’s vineyards. As a Vineyard Worker, you will undertake a range of manual tasks to ensure the optimal condition of our vineyards.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

●      Pruning, tying, picking, training, weeding, thinning, de-leafing, planting, suckering, grafting, harvesting, and repairing trellises as required to enhance vine health and productivity.

●      Participating in the preparation and planting of new vineyards.

●      Installing trellis systems, irrigation, and drainage systems in newly established vineyards.

●      Adhering to safety protocols in all production areas and promptly reporting any safety concerns to the Vineyard Supervisor.

Additional tasks may encompass property maintenance and cleaning duties as needed.

●      Reasoning: Proficiency in applying logical thinking to execute instructions in written, oral, or diagram format. The ability to address challenges involving practical variables within standardized scenarios. Identification and prompt reporting of safety issues is crucial.

●      Additional Skills: Basic mechanical skills and a propensity to collaborate within a team environment.
