CSA Pickup Associate — 2026 Season
We’re looking for a part-time team member to run our Saturday CSA member pickup. This is a front-facing, customer-service-oriented role on a diversified vegetable farm with an engaged, close-knit CSA community.
This is a great position for someone who loves interacting with people, takes pride in a well-run operation, and wants to be part of a vibrant farm community — one day a week.
Experience & Qualifications
- Strong people skills and genuine comfort interacting with the public — our CSA members are curious, engaged, and loyal.
- Experience in customer-facing roles: farmers market, retail, hospitality, or similar.
- Organized and self-directed — you can manage a busy pickup largely on your own and keep things running smoothly.
- The ability to maintain a positive attitude and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to receive and apply constructive instruction and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
CSA Pickup Duties
- Setting up a market-style array of vegetable bins before the pickup opens.
- Interacting with CSA members, answering questions about produce and u-pick crops.
- Restocking display bins throughout the pickup.
- Keeping the cooler, wash-pack, and pickup area clean.
- Breaking down the pickup, washing harvest totes, and recording end-of-day inventory.
Compensation & Schedule
Saturdays only — 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (approximately 8 hours/week)
$20–$21/hr DOE
Access to all farm produce
This is a seasonal position (June through mid-December).
