Layla Aguilar

Ecological Farming Manager

Layla Aguilar works with flora and fauna to build soil and communities. She was an apprentice in the CASFS program, has traveled around CA making olive oil, managed and started farms in three states, established school gardens in LA and works to uplift the often unheard voices of our food system by facilitating thoughtful community events. When she is not educating folks about our innate connection to our food and the land it is grown on, she is hiking with her dog, knitting, playing with her friends or cooking.
