Born and raised in Salinas, CA, Paulina was motivated by her community and the vast agriculture industry. This led her to receive a BS in Environmental Science & Management and a minor in Spanish, from UC Davis. Wanting to make academic research, knowledge, and resources pertaining to agriculture more accessible to farmers and the general public, she worked with UC Cooperative Extension’s Small Farms & Specialty Crops Program in Santa Clara County for over 2 years! Now with CAFF, Paulina will continue to provide language and technical assistance to small-scale, socially underrepresented farmers where she calls home, the Central Coast!
