Vegetable Production Crew

Russian River Organics is entering its 10th growing season, providing the highest quality produce to the local community through farmers market, direct sales and as a member of the FEED Sonoma fresh produce cooperative.  We practice sustainable regenerative and organic agriculture leading to super abundant yields from healthy soils.  Employees will participate in and gain a tremendous amount of knowledge in all facets of a small, highly productive small farm business in the heart of the beautiful and abundant Russian River Valley.  This will include propagation/greenhouse, planting, cultivation, harvest, proper pack and handling technique, and sales.  Prospective employees must be willing and able to arrive punctually for early morning start times, work outside in a variety of weather including hot summer days, be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and cultivate and harvest in a different positions, standing, kneeling, etc.  We have well developed systems in place and well-maintained appropriate equipment to help the day to day operation run smoothly and set employees up for success.  We work hard, in a beautiful environment, and take pride in our efforts and have fun doing so.  The abundance is staggering, and employees are encouraged to have much of the nourishing bounty to take home.  Starting pay is $18 to $22 depending on experience, with an opportunity to increase from starting pay with increasing efficiency and understanding.
