Michelle supports the dynamic Farm to Market team at CAFF while helping to steer the development, implementation, and evaluation of this program. (Think multi-tasking, plate spinning, ball juggler extraordinaire). With expertise in the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) / Farm Box marketing model, Michelle also provides specialized technical assistance to farmers in California and beyond through the national CSA Innovation Network, which she co-founded in 2016. Michelle has worked in rural food systems development since 2001 after earning her degree in Sustainable Agriculture from Humboldt State University. A former farmer herself, she is enamored with the culture that surrounds agriculture, especially in rural areas of the U.S. and abroad.
