Every year, we at Community Alliance with Family Farmers & The Farmers Guild reach out to hear from California farmers, ranchers and local food advocates on our organization’s 2019 policy positions as well as to get input on our policy priorities for the coming year (2020).

Over the past year, CAFF/FG championed legislation around organic school food procurement, revitalizing technical assistance for smaller farmers, and creating more tools for farmers to tackle climate change.   Our positions are determined by our farmer-led policy committee and enacted by staff.
